Do You Know Who You Are?

Many people—including Christians—do not know who they are. This identity confusion results in disillusionment and discouragement. While the world simply says to look inside and find yourself, the Bible expects Christians to look upward and discover the identity that God has given to them. First Peter leans into the idea of identity, presenting the Christian identity from the vantage point of heaven and earth. So, do we know who we are? This study surveys First Peter and describes and applies the identity of the Christian, namely as a member of the household of God and an exile in the world.
