Ephesians – The Eternal Purpose of God

God has always intended to save people from sin—even before we needed salvation! The letter to the Ephesians unveils this eternal purpose. God's plan from eternity has been to send Jesus to save us (sinners) and bring us into his household (church). We (Christians) find our identity and become a community in Christ, but God then demands that we prioritize unity and purity. In so doing, we bring glory to God. This sermon surveys Ephesians and focuses on this divine plan.
