“Fact checking” is the Internet craze of the day. People want to separate truth from error. Yet the only way to do so is to have an objective standard to measure any statement against—and many today deny absolute truth. Paul left Timothy in Ephesus with the gospel (objective, absolute truth) and told him to deal with false teaching. That same task comes to every Christian today. We must silence error and promote truth.
