Timothy: Paul's True Child in the Faith

God has given evangelists to the church to preach the gospel in their communities and in the local churches. First and Second Timothy and Titus detail the work of evangelists and provide practical instruction for all Christians. In this introductory sermon to First Timothy, we examine the close (father-son) relationship between the author of this book (Paul) and its recipient (Timothy). The church needs spiritual mentors to guide the next generation into faithful service to God.
