Faith That Saves, Part 2

Recently, we considered the word grace as it was used in the 1st century and how that differs from the way it is used in many modern contexts. In both of our sermons today, we want to take a similar approach to the word “faith.” This morning we will consider some well-known passages that present some difficulty using the popular definitions of faith. Then we will begin to look at how the Bible defines the word. Tonight, we are continuing our study of the word faith and considering the consequences of bringing the full measure and meaning of the word into various frequently quotes passages.
