How does a marriage break down into a relationship of bitterness, mistrust, and competition? By forgetting what a marriage is supposed to be: a reflection of Christ and His church; a relationship built on love and respect, trust and forbearance; a relationship in which both husband and wife can be open, vulnerable, and naked before each other, and not ashamed.
