The Pursuit of Happiness

People sometimes attempt to rationalize poor choices and bad behavior by saying, "But I know God wants me to be happy!" We might be tempted to argue back, "No, He doesn't want to be happy; He wants you to holy!" That leaves the impression that happiness and holiness are mutually exclusive. But in reality, holiness is the only way to ultimate happiness.
