Enemies of the Cross

In Philippians 3:18, 19, Paul lamented, "For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame—who set their mind on earthly things." It is a bleak truth that judgment is in store for those who oppose Christ. We must not think we will not face such judgment if we let the earthly keep us from focusing on and pursuing the heavenly.
