What is there to learn from the extended lament of Jeremiah as he surveyed Jerusalem, a city once secure and thriving, but now forlorn and in ruins. Some solemn and sobering lessons, to be sure! And yet, there are some faint bright spots, even in the midst of such deep despondency.
