Behold! My Servant whom I uphold,
My Elect One in whom My soul delights!

Thus begins a series of Servant Songs in the book of Isaiah, songs that prophesy of the role and character of the coming Messiah. This lesson begins a series on those Servant Songs by looking at Isaiah 42 and Matthew 12, where it is quoted as fulfilled by Jesus of Nazareth.
