Cleaning House

Some Old Testament kings would allow the temple of God to fall into disrepair or even actively desecrate it. Other kings would come along and clean up the mess of their predecessors and try to keep the house of God clean and in good order. We are not so different: We can get lazy, let our lives get out of order, and let our faithfulness to God wane. Only with diligence can we both clean up our spiritual houses and keep them clean.
