The Whole Bible Stands or Falls with Genesis

Under pressure from popular opinion that this world came to be as it is today through a process of evolution over the course of millions of years, many people who believe in God—and even that Jesus is the Son of God—end up compomising. They reject a straightforward interpretation of the book of Genesis, relegating it to the realm of myth and superstition. Still they insist that we must accept Jesus because, they argue, the rest of the Bible is true as written. They have quite unfortunately ceded critical ground to scoffers and unbelievers because, as this lesson shows, Genesis is not merely the first book of the Bible; it is foundational to the rest of the Bible entirely.
