A Generation That Knew Not the Lord

A people who do not know the Lord do not know His teachings, and a people who do not know the Lord’s teachings are destined to wander away from the Lord. When we look at what happens when a people lose sight of who God is and what His will for us is, it is a very sobering picture. When one generation makes a minor, perhaps very subtle, departure from the doctine of God, the generations that follow, time after time, depart in stark and staggering ways. We must hold fast to God’s word, and we do that by preaching the whole counsel of God.
