The Sin of Lying

James writes, “For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. But no man can tame the tongue,” (James 3:7, 8 NKJV). Lying is a sin dismissed and overlooked by many, but we must learn to tame our tongues and bind ourselves to telling the truth always, no matter the consequences.
