Jesus asked those who expressed an interest in following Him to count the cost because He requires a significant sacrifice and order of priorities of His followers. For those of us who have been followers of Jesus for some time, we also need to count the cost—daily. Are we continuing to put Jesus and our love for Him first, or are we letting the world creep in?
