The ninth chapter of the book of Mark contains some very memorable stories from Jesus’s life: Jesus is transfigured on the mount. He heals a boy violently tormented by an evil spirit. His apostles’ argue about who is the greatest. Finally, Jesus warns His audience about eternal punishment in some of the strongest terms on the topic in all of the New Testament.
