Proponents of the doctrine of Realized Eschatology—the doctrine that claims that all of the Bible's prophecies about end times have already come to pass—insist that the resurrection promised to faithful Christians has already happened and that it was not a bodily resurrection, but a spiritual or figurative one.
Look with us at 1st Corinthians 15, a passage that speaks quite a bit about the resurrection. We think you will be convinced that not only has the resurrection not yet taken place, but that when it does, it will most certainly be a bodily resurrection, both of the righteous and the wicked.
