The apostle Paul has a wonderful, inspiring defense of the idea of a bodily resurrection in 1st Corinthians 15. It has served as an anchor to the faith of Christians for two millennia, giving them hope of new body in the eternal kingdom of God after this life. On the other hand, the doctrine of Realized Eschatology says not only that the resurrection is already past, as it took place only 40 year after the death of our Lord, but also that the resurrection is not a bodily resurrection at all, but a figurative resurrection of Christianity at the death of Judaism in AD 70.
We invite you to look with us at what the Bible does, in fact, have to say in favor of a bodily resurrection, and draw faith, comfort, and strength from the promise that God gives us in His word.
