Confession: The Molding Power of Radical Repentance

As we come to God for forgiveness and mercy, any attempt at confession of sin falls short unless it is based on two fundamental principles: (1) our own unworthiness and (2) the greatness, the holiness, and the love of our God. We cannot truly confess and repent unless we see sin for what it is, God for who He is, and ourselves for who we can be.
