Just as diluted salt cannot brighten the flavor of food, Christians watered down by worldliness possess no light to shine in a dark world and cannot be effective in converting lost souls into anything worth preserving. How does one who answered with fervor the upward call of God in Christ Jesus end up lukewarm and insipid—of absolutely no use in the service of Jesus Christ?
